Is it safe to live in Dubai? What should I expect?

Dubai is considered one of the safest cities in the world, with a low crime rate and a strong police presence. After living here for over five years, I can confidently say that the city is very secure, and most expats feel safe walking at night. However, it's always wise to stay aware of your surroundings and avoid isolated areas late at night. Overall, Dubai is very welcoming, but like anywhere, staying vigilant is key.
